Katie Bottini is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist and has a B.S. in Exercise Science and Nutrition from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.

Katie grew up in Wilton, CT where she was a four-sport athlete playing field hockey, basketball, lacrosse, and even horseback riding. Katie was named an All American lacrosse player and was the captain of her High School lacrosse team. She then went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at UMASS-Amherst and Sacred Heart University. At college, Katie also began to pursue her love for health and fitness while studying exercise science and nutrition. 

In 2008, Katie began competing in triathlons (swimming, biking and running), and soon thereafter, began racing at the elite national level. From 2009 - 2014, Katie was named an All American Triathlete and she competed for Team USA in the 2012 Triathlon World Championships in New Zealand. 

Professionally, Katie has a diverse background in health and fitness. She began her career working as a physical therapist assistant where she acquired invaluable experience on proper training techniques, injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as maintaining a balanced and strong body. Katie also stayed active in the sports community by coaching her high school girl’s lacrosse team. In 2010, Katie also began working as a multisport endurance coach where she taught cycling, running and swim classes, as well as adult strength and kid strength classes. Katie also has experience working with children from coaching lacrosse and triathlon/running camps, kid fitness classes, to sport specific strength and conditioning. In 2013, she started her own fitness class called “Fun and Fit” for kindergarten through middle school children.  

Katie is also a model, and she is currently signed with SLU, a fitness modeling agency. Katie has been featured in numerous print and online magazines including Vogue, Nike, Refinery 29, and H+K.


Katie Bottini is a competitive triathlete, SLU sponsored fitness model, and NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. As a competitive triathlete, Katie has competed at the elite level, having completed more than 50 Olympic distance triathlons, in addition to representing Team USA at the 2012 Triathlon World Championships in New Zealand. As a fitness model, Katie can be seen in ads for Runners World and Nike, among others. Based in the greater NYC area, Katie provides personal training and nutrition services to clients locally and worldwide.
